Promise Cost of Living (Commuting Costs)
“Hardworking Long Islanders are forced to pay skyrocketing costs just to get to work, making the cost of living crisis even worse. With the rising price of gas, LIRR fares and the NYC congestion tax, working families are left with no affordable way to get to their jobs. This bipartisan bill will help families save money as they commute to work and contribute to the economy by creating the first-ever tax credit for personal commuting expenses.”

Position Health Care (Newborn Screening)
“Newborn screenings give families a critical opportunity to detect rare and deadly conditions in the first days of a child's life. Catching rare illnesses and treating them early can be lifesaving and prevent costly, lifelong disabilities. I'm proud to partner with my colleagues on this bipartisan bill to ensure every state has the funding to provide proven, effective newborn screenings and give every child a fighting chance.”
