Position Digital asset / cryptocurrency taxation
“The digital asset status quo is untenable. America needs clear tax rules of the road to remain the crypto capital of the world. Americans need simplicity and clarity to own, trade, and use digital assets with confidence. Digital asset businesses, many of which are homegrown American innovations, need consistent rules tailored to digital assets.”

Position Disaster response
“The pictures don't do justice to the damage. For 12 inches of rain to come within two to three hours, in an area that does not flood, it was horrendous and pretty scary. Families have lost their homes, farmers have lost equipment and livelihoods they spent decades building, and a church that feeds well over 100 families through its food drives had its sanctuary destroyed. The scale of what this community is facing is enormous, and I'm grateful for every first responder, volunteer, neighbor, and local leader who has stepped up to help during this difficult time. My office will continue working to connect these families and organizations with every state and federal resource available as they rebuild.”

Position Tax policy
“I rise today in support of H.Res. 1156 and the Working Families Tax Cuts which have led to this year's historic tax refund season. Today, April 15 is Tax Day. The IRS typically receives around 24 percent of their tax returns in April. And what millions of Americans are finding out today is that their tax refund is significantly larger than it's been in the past thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts. Refunds this tax season have increased by 11 percent, with the average refund over $3,400. When Republicans enacted the Working Families Tax Cuts, we made America's workers, families, farmers, and small businesses our top of priority. Because of the Working Families Tax Cuts, Americans have more money to buy school supplies and put food on their tables; family farmers and small businesses have more certainty and resources to invest, grow, and hire. These are the results of Republican tax relief that puts America's working families first.”
