Position Economy/Trump agenda
“Donald Trump once again lacked specifics. The time for promises is over; action must be the agenda now. If Trump truly wants to support working families and energize the American economy, we need to empower ordinary Americans. The rules of the economy must be rewritten. Instead of giving tax breaks to the most wealthy and big corporations, we need to provide relief to middle-class families, small business owners, and students. We cannot eliminate important government regulations that provide public safety, protect the environment, and ensure fair business practices. While I was pleased to see Trump recognize the importance of reducing the influence of special interests in Washington, his lobbying ban does not go far enough when his cabinet is a who's who of Wall Street billionaires and K Street deal makers. I hope he keeps his word and joins me in standing up to pharmaceutical lobbyists in order to lower the price of prescription drugs. We also need term limits and need to ban PAC and lobbyist money from the halls of Congress.”

Position Epstein files/government transparency
“The DOJ said it identified over 6 million potentially responsive pages but is releasing only about 3.5 million after review and redactions. This raises questions as to why the rest are being withheld. I will be reviewing closely to see if they release what I've been pushing for: the FBI 302 victim interview statements, a draft indictment and prosecution memorandum prepared during the 2007 Florida investigation, and hundreds of thousands of emails and files from Epstein's computers. Failing to release these files only shields the powerful individuals who were involved and hurts the public's trust in our institutions.”

Position Gig economy/creator rights
“The digital economy is a rapidly growing industry that supports over 200 million creators globally. We need laws to protect Americans who earn their livelihoods on these platforms and ensure they are able to secure basic rights. I'm proud to introduce a resolution that will help increase creators' access to healthcare and workplace protections.”
