Position Congressional leadership / governance
“Our country is at a critical juncture. When it comes to the next choice for Speaker, we need someone who can lead the House toward keeping our promises, taking our message to the American people, and breaking the cycle of Swamp politics that has plagued this place for so long. We are blessed with multiple candidates who could do the job effectively - but I believe one candidate stands out as clearly suited to meet the task at hand, while inspiring hope in millions of Americans desperate to see change in DC. Jim Jordan is a man of integrity, principle, and vision. Time and time again he has shown himself to be a leader willing to fight for what matters to Americans, while bringing people together to deliver results and do what we said we would do. I truly believe he would unite our conference and inspire the kind of change Congress has desperately needed for a long time. I'm honored to give Jim my enthusiastic endorsement.”

Position Government spending / continuing resolutions
“By now, TX-27 constituents are well aware of my position on Continuing Resolutions - that they are no way to govern, and often continue the status quo without any serious reforms attached. We cannot continue punting on a spending problem that has to be dealt with urgently. Additionally, today's CR also did nothing to address the many issues plaguing our country right now, including fixing inflation, securing our border, and reining in the bureaucracy in Washington. Without real spending reforms or policy fixes, this is not something that I can support.”

Position Infrastructure
“I am thrilled that CCRTA has secured this vital funding to construct this new maintenance facility that will meet the needs of our region and the need for long-term preparedness. It was a privilege to work with them on this issue and utilize our federal resources within the Department of Transportation to help secure this grant. I applaud the CCRTA for their diligent work in moving this forward for our region, and I thank our partners at the Department of Transportation, including Secretary Sean Duffy, for their support of the Coastal Bend community.”
